Looking forward to 2011!

Arts and Culture Week will be April 10-16, 2011 -- it's not too early to start thinking about projects for next year.

From 2010:

What are you doing for BC Arts and Culture Week?

Hundreds of arts councils and schools across BC will be participating in this week-long celebration of the arts. Each year, over 20,000 artists, young people, educators and community members host and participate in performances, art walks, exhibitions, workshops, and public art projects. Now in its 11th year, Arts and Culture Week will turn the spotlight on the vital contribution that arts and culture make in learning and in life. Music, films, media arts, dance, books, theatre and visual art are a part of daily life, and have a lasting impact. They inspire us, challenge us and broaden our horizons.

2010 PosterIf your organization would like to celebrate arts and culture in your community during the week of April 18-24, 2010, we want to help.  We can:

  • List your event on your regions page on this site (see "Events" above).
  • Help you with free promotional materials -- brochures, stickers and temporary tattoos.  The Assembly is also offering customizable posters -- you print or order them custom-printed from us.
